The University of Leuven is a partner
in the Able to Include Project.

Leuven is a city in Belgium.

The University of Leuven made a computer program
to change words into pictures.

It is called Text2Picto.

This program helps people with intellectual disabilities
better understand the information they are reading.

It will also help them use social media
like Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp.

You can try the technology out here.

On 16 March Text2Picto won a Language Industry Award
for “Best Language Service”.

We are happy and excited their hard work
is being recognised.
